We just purchased a 2025 Santa Fe from South Point from out of town and it couldn't have gone smoother. Everyone we worked with, Jim Hayth, Art, Darren, Sonny, Gabriel, Carter, were very helpful. Immediately responding to texts and voicemails. Paperwork was emailed, and overnighted, so that when we drove in town to pick up the new car, it literally took 5 minutes. Highly recommend them! We will definitely work with them again in the future.

Quite possibly the worst customer service experience in my 64 years. Called to say I needed a wheel bearing replaced, and thought it should be covered by warranty. Turned out it was caused by a pothole, so not warranty. They actually replaced the bearing anyway, at no charge, by accident. Nevertheless, it was in the shop for 10 days, and I only got it back by complaining to the service manager. The service tech had no access to voicemail, so my messages went unanswered. I had to get a receptionist to chase him down 3-4 times. I instructed him on Wednesday to do the alignment, which should take an hour max. On Friday I call to leave a message. No response. Call Saturday, leave a message, no response. Finally get a receptionist to track him down. He said he was waiting for a diagnosis which we NEVER discussed. I said just do the alignment. He said they were slow Saturday and would get it done. No call. Called Monday he said it was in line and needed a specialist, could not tell me when it would be completed. I then called Tim the service manager, told him the situation. He got it completed in 1 hour. And as in my previous review, they charge 3 times the going rate for service, $219 for a $70 alignment. . I will always buy Hyundai, I love their products. I will NEVER buy from South Point again.
Made an appointment which took almost 4 hrs for a simple service. Plus no loaners available. It may be because it's a smaller dealership and they are overwhelmed. Too much to chew. The people however are great.
Avoid at all costs - absolutely awful customer service for aftercare. Our 2024 IONIQ 5 has a 12V battery issue and was told to come in for a swap, then told when I arrived that it would be a 4 hour wait, and then told later that day that it will be a 72 hour wait without any possibility of a loaner vehicle - even if booked in advance. For an almost-brand new vehicle this level of customer service is abysmal, and particularly so given that we have two Hyundai-family vehicles, the other being a 2025 Genesis GV70. I was also promised a call back from the Service Director... and not surprisingly didn't get that call.
The service that was provided was on time and the staff were very helpful to me.

Art is the guy you need if you are looking for the best price, he beat any dealer price that we went to. He promised he will beat the price and he delivered. Marcell helped us setting up Hyundai blue link and guide us on how to use it, he even make sure our 2025 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy black edition look good by removing all the remaining protectors before we left. And last bet not least Valentina the Finance manager was very patient with us and make sure we left with everything we needed to protect our big purchase. Thank you South Point Hyundai team! I had to get my yearly service done and Rocky was so helpful and was so kind. He was able to get my car done within an hour. My car was very clean and it was fast the service. Everything was very great. Would recommend everyone to go see South Point Hyundai Service.
Art was very pleasant, friendly to work with very informative and knowledgeable about the product.
I brought my car to South Point Hyundai to repair my car for an attempted theft and the ordeal was less than pleasant. They attempted to charge me an additional $800 out of pocket for my window/regulator. I took the car to a different auto shop, where I learned I only needed to repair the glass. I was told by the Hyundai Service team that BOTH the regulator and glass needed replacement. Why was this pushed on me when it was clear that the regulator was fine? They also tried to overcharge my battery after sitting for two months, I can imagine that the team did not even think to jump it, considering that when I expressed that I found a battery cheaper than what they were charging, they "found a lower option." when I expressed that they stated that they were having to “jump the car every time they moved it” how is that possible? When I brought the car the battery was fine… Lastly, After having my car for over three months, there was still broken glass all over it. Three months, and not one person could have removed the glass?! Is this what Hyundai means when they say, "We will always place our customer's satisfaction as a top priority..." With over 2,000 Hyundai break-ins taking place in Austin in 2023, I find it hard to believe that this repair was hard to fix as they should have plenty of experience. This whole ordeal was nothing short of blatant money-gauging and the apparent negligence of their team, which was passed off as "trying to help." They made it a point to state that because I didn't have one of the “bigger insurance companies” they couldn't find as much money as they wanted out of them. I hope that moving forward they consider customers rather than their financial gain as they are cheap cars and are aware clients will be in financial loss from purchasing these cars considering the amount of attempted theft last year on these cars alone. This was a very poor experience and a clear representation of the company as a whole.
I went in for an oil change. Henry Seily talked to me about selling my Santa Fe. I really liked the GV70's and after very little back and forth we had a deal. In the Finance Dept Carter Palmer was great! He knows what he's doing and does it well. Very happy with the service and the price. Highly recommend!
Great experience! Eric Whitley was knowledgeable and helped me make the choices I needed to make . He worked quickly and respected my time and concerns. At no time did I feel like I was getting the run a round.
